An air traveler is recounting their frustrating encounter with a fellow passenger, whom they described as an “aisle rusher.”
In a post onReddit’s United Airlines forum, the traveler shared how a person occupying the middle seat next to them during a flight that day rudely contributed to a series of events that left them with “a headache” and a “smashed” bag.
According to the traveler, after the plane landed, a number of people began “climbing to reach the overhead containers” to retrieve their carry-on bags and belongings.

A plane passenger is offering their praise after hearing a gate agent’s interesting proposal for potential line cutters.
The traveler detailed the airport worker’s solution to dissuade sneaky passengers from trying to board before their group is called (also known as “gate lice”) in a recentRedditpost.
“Gate agent stated if he caught anyone trying to board before their zone was called, he was automatically confiscating and gate checking their carry-on bags,” the user wrote.
