For the past 10 years, Louellen Berger’s garage on the corner of St. Charles and State Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, has stored not her car, but two-dozen skeletons. She jokingly says that if someone were to break in or hop the fence, they’d probably get a jump scare.
The skeletons remain in the garage year-round — except for Halloween.

Jessica Long is golden — again!
“I just wanted to win a medal. I think it’s so funny because in Tokyo after Morgan Stickney beat me, I said was too old to ever do this event again, and here I am winning gold,” Long told NBC after the race. “… I can’t believe I won.”
Team USA celebrated Long’s incredible achievement on Instagram.
“Decades of dominance 🐐@jessicatatianalongwins Paralympic gold in the 400m Freestyle S8, the same event she won gold in at Athens 2004.

Olympian snowboarder Sophie Hediger died in an avalanche on Monday, Dec. 23, the Swiss-Ski federation announced.“Sophie Hediger, a member of the snowboard cross national team, died on Monday in an avalanche accident in Arosa at the age of just 26,” the federationconfirmed.“We are stunned and our thoughts are with Sophie’s family, to whom we express our deepest condolences,” said Swiss-Ski CEO Walter Reusser.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levronecelebrated her latest gold medallike the queen that she is.
On Aug. 8, McLaughlin-Levrone, 25, not only won the gold medal in 400-meter hurdles in the2024 Paris Olympics, but she also broke the world record. And it was a world record that she held.
When she crossed the finish line in 50.37 seconds, she — like many track and field athletes — went to the stands at Stade de France where family and friends are watching, and it was there that a sparkling tiara was bestowed upon her.
