TheTesla Cybertruck that explodedoutside of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on Jan. 1 was packed with fireworks and gas canisters, police have said.
One person died and seven people suffered injuries, but are now all stable, after the vehicle exploded outside the hotel at around 8:40 a.m. local time on New Year’s Day, authorities said in a press conference shared onFacebook.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill showed a video of the Cybertruck exploding, with what appeared to be fireworks going off.

Teslais recalling over 27,000 of its Cybertruck vehicles after authorities reported that drivers were having visibility problems with the car’s rearview camera.
On Thursday, Oct. 3, theElon Musk-ownedcar companyannounced that it would recall 27,185 Cybertrucks because the car’s review camera experiences a delay, reducing a driver’s visibility of what is behind the vehicle.

An “exhaustive manhunt” ended with the arrest of a paroled man, charged with the slaying of a 38-year-old mother, who a Texas sheriff says was killed with a machete and concrete block.
Richard Tanner Ozment is charged with first-degree murder and as of Thursday morning, Sept. 26, was being held at McLennan County Jail, according to hisonline booking records.

A Texas man was arrested after allegedly stabbing his mother when she refused to give him her wallet, authorities said.
Paramedics who responded to the home transported the 58-year-old woman — whom police did not identify — to a hospital, where she was reported to be in stable condition, according to the release.
