UNLV Football Player Ben Christman, 21, Found Dead in His Apartment

He was 21. According to anews releaseshared on the UNLV athletics' website, Christman was found dead in his off-campus apartment on the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 11. The news release notes that his family has been notified and that the athletic department informed the team.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (DPH) said in anews releaseon Dec. 31 that Monarch Raw Pet Food that was sold atseveral farmers markets in Californiacontains traces of the highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) virus. Per the organization, one feline that consumed the pet food product has been confirmed positive for bird flu.
