In a post onReddit’s “Am I the A——” forum, a woman shared that the outfit she wore to a friend’s wedding left the bride upset.
“I ha[d] actually never attended a wedding before in my life, and I don’t tend to dress up or put on makeup … I was really excited when I got the invite, saved up, and went to a shop I know carries my size (I’m fairly tall),” she explained.

A seasoned wedding guest is sharing advice on whatnotto do when throwing a wedding — which they said is based on “painful personal experience.”
After explaining that they felt compelled to share their hard-earned wisdom, the guest proceeded to detail their top 10 wedding don’ts. First on the list: “Do not ask a friend or relative with zero talent to sing a solo during the ceremony.

In a post shared to the Reddit pager/weddingshaming, a user claimed that they canceled their vacation to attend their friends' wedding — only to find out weeks before the nuptials that they weren’t invited to the actual ceremony.
The woman explained that she and her boyfriend often attended music festivals and planned a trip to one taking place on July 7, before finding out their “good friend” was getting married on the same date.

For many, their wedding day is one they look forward to with equal parts excitement (you’re committing to spend the rest of your life with your person!) and anxiety (wow, there’s so much that could go wrong!).
And though for the majority of brides and grooms, their special day goes off with hardly a hitch, every so often, a true disaster happens that ensures the event is memorable … even if for all the wrong reasons.
