Wesleyan College Cross-Country Runner Dies After Going Into Cardiac Arrest During Meet

Photo:Getty Getty A Georgia college community is in mourning following the death of a 23-year-old cross-country runner who suffered cardiac arrest at a college meet over the weekend. Macon-Bibb County coroner Leon Jones told the news station that Holston was rushed to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon where she was pronounced dead at 10 a.m. A representative with the coroner’s office did not immediately return PEOPLE’s request for additional information.
