Aryna Sabalenkacontinues to remember her former late boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov.
Sabalenka, who appeared in Netflix’sBreak Pointtennis docuseries, won her first Grand Slam women’s singles title at the Australian Open in 2023. When the athlete won her second-consecutive Australian Open win in January 2024, Koltsov celebrated her on Instagram, writing, “Congratulations again my love.”
In August 2024, Sabalenka told theIndependentthat she should have taken a break from tennis after Koltsov’s death, admitting that “health-wise I was struggling a lot.

Brian Thompsonwas the victim of an apparent targeted attack.
The late UnitedHealthcare CEO, who wasfatally shot outside of a New York City hotelon Dec. 4, grew up in Iowa. He joined UnitedHealthcare in 2004 and stepped into the role of CEO in 2021, per hisLinkedIn.
Thompson was arriving at the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan just before 6:45 a.m. when a masked gunman shot him in the chest.

Charles Mansonand his “family” of followers were the perpetrators of one of themost infamous murder spreesin U.S. history.
The cult members known to be involved in the August 1969 murder spree were Susan Atkins, Charles D. “Tex” Watson, Patricia Krenwinkel, Leslie Van Houten,Linda Kasabianand Steven “Clem” Grogan. All except Kasabian, who served as the state’s “star witness” and was granted immunity in exchange for her testimony, were convicted.

Jimmy Cartergrew up as the oldest of four children with one brother, Billy, and two sisters, Gloria and Ruth.
The former president was born on Oct. 1, 1924, and lived to be 100. Hedied on Dec. 29 at his Plains, Ga., home, Jimmy’s son James confirmed — nearly two years after he entered hospice care in February 2023.
