A woman is backing out of being a bridesmaid because she’s “uncomfortable” with her best friend’s fiancé.
The 25-year-old woman explained in a post on Reddit’s “Am I the A——?” forum that she and a 26-year-old bride have been friends for more than 10 years. Initially, the woman was “excited” to be her “super close” friend’s bridesmaid, but she has now decided to step down from the role because she can’t stand the 28-year-old groom.

A reddit user is making a difficult choice about a friend’s upcoming wedding.
A userposted their storyto Reddit’s popular AITA forum on Dec. 3, where they explained their decision to skip their best friend’s wedding because they can’t support the woman marrying her ex.
The bride, “Sarah,” was married once before. The marriage lasted seven years before the couple entered a “pretty rough divorce,” the user explained.
