Saphia Hall, 37 — who was born in Manchester, England, but has lived in the U.S. with her American husband, Stuart, also 37, for 10 years — was 17 years old when her mother, Margaret, died.

A woman who fatally shot her terminally ill husband at his request in 2023 has been sentenced to nearly one year behind bars and 12 years of probation.
Ellen Gilland, 78, shot her husband, Jerry Gilland, behind the ear in his Daytona Beach hospital room on Jan. 21, 2023, perWESH.
She had reportedly made a murder-suicide pact with her husband, 77, about three weeks before the shooting, which took place at AdventHealth Daytona Beach.

Living in the Arctic can come with a host of challenges, freezing cold temperatures and rugged terrain among them. But the cost of groceries, which have to be delivered via only a few highways in the region, is another.
In avideoposted to TikTok, user @Willow_Allen invites her followers to “Come get groceries with us in the Arctic.”
The video was taken in Inuvik, which Allen notes is located in Canada’s Northwest Territories.

On TikTok, a woman named Chelsie Dort shared an emotional message from her husband that he sent before he left town. Inthe video, she wrote that her husband, Bedford, had gone on a work trip that morning. “He came to bed late last night and I just figured he was getting packed and ready to go,” she wrote.
