Art Schallock, a former pitcher for the New York Yankees, has died at age 100. Prior to his death, he was the oldest living former major leaguer.
The retired athlete and Navy veteran, who memorably replacedMickey Mantleon the Yankees in 1951, died on Thursday, March 6, according to theAssociated PressandMajor League Baseball(MLB). His family announced the news on Saturday, March 8.

Artem Chigvintsevwill not speak out about his divorce fromNikki Garciaanytime soon, his attorney tells PEOPLE.
Days after theDancing with the Starspro, 42, responded to theformer WWE star’s Wednesday, Sept. 11 divorce filing, his attorney, Ilona Antonyan, tells PEOPLE, “At this time, Mr. Chigvintsev will not comment on any pending proceeding.”
“The parties are focused on co-parenting and working together for the best interests of their son,” says Antonyan, referring to their 4-year-oldMatteo.

He also requested medical assistance.In the clip of the 911 call, the dispatcher can be heard saying that the call “initially came in as requesting medical, but now he is stating he got into an argument with his wife and his wife threw shoes at RP [reporting party],” per TMZ.

Garcia, 40,filed for divorceafter two years of marriage in September, shortly after formerDancing with the Starspro Chigvintsev, 42,was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violenceon Aug. 29. He was released from custody the same day on $25,000 bail. On Tuesday, Sept. 24, Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley announced her officedecided to decline to file criminal chargesagainst Chigvintsev.

In a lengthy statement to PEOPLE on Wednesday, Sept. 25, Chigvintsev revealed how he’s been doing after it was announced he wouldnot be facing criminal chargesfor his arrest on suspicion of domestic violence on Aug. 29.
The formerDancing with the Starspro said he is now focusing on his son Matteo, whom he shares with estranged wifeNikki Garcia, as he attempts to move forward from the incident.
