Tice’s mother, Debra Tice, spoke at a news conference Friday, Dec. 6, at the National Press Club in Washington D.C., and claimed her journalist son is indeed alive based on a new report. “We have from a significant source that has already been vetted all over our government, Austin Tice is alive, Austin Tice is treated well,” Debra during at the press conference.

Australia Planning 'World-Leading' Social Media Ban for Kids Under 16: 'Doing Harm to Our Kids'

The legislation will be introduced in Parliament during its last two weeks in session this year, which begins on Nov. 18. The age limit would come into effect 12 months after the law is passed and it will be reviewed following its commencement.
