A 16-year-old boy died in Tennessee after he hit a black bear while driving on the night of Saturday, Nov. 23, according to multiple outlets.
Citing Tennessee Highway Patrol,WVLT,WATEandWBIRreported that the boy, whose name was not released, was driving in Campbell County in the northeast part of the state at around 8:15 p.m. on Saturday.
The crash occurred on Stinking Creek Road, which is in a secluded mountainous area near the Kentucky border.

A 16-year-old male cheerleader is dead and five other individuals are injured after a house explosion in Louisiana on Saturday.
Firefighters responded to a report of a residential explosion in the 1100 block of Pullin Road in Ragley just before 10 a.m. on Aug. 31, said the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal in anews alert.
According to the department, seven people were in this home at the time of the explosion.

A Minnesota community is in mourning after the unexpected death of a 16-year-old track star, who died following a medical emergency near his high school, authorities said.
Espoir Missite was found on a trail near Maple Grove Senior High School in Maple Grove, Minn. in the early evening of Tuesday, Feb. 25. The junior later died at the hospital, according to a press release from the Maple Grove Police Department.
