A bride and groom found a beautifully sentimental way to honor their “village” on their wedding day.
While Alivia Zaubi and now-husband John Pisani were planning their nuptials last year, it occurred to them that their wedding would be the ideal opportunity to let their friends and family know just how much they are loved and appreciated. But instead of making a toast or handing out favors, they decided to put pen to paper and hand write each of their 140 guests a personalized letter.

“I am a bit of a control freak, so the thought of delegating this task elsewhere would have only caused me sleepless nights! I can imagine myself being a bridezilla to that poor baker!” Lucy tells PEOPLE. “Weddings are also so expensive, and I know what I charge for my work.”

Lucy has been baking her entire life, and began selling cakes professionally in 2016.

A 28-year-old woman seeks support from the Reddit community after a deeply personal and emotional conflict with her family during her wedding.
The situation unfolded when her father and younger sister attempted to hijack her special father-daughter dance. The bride recently married her 29-year-old husband, and details the days leading up to the wedding.
“My father decided to clear his throat, which usually meant listen, and said he has something serious to talk about,” the woman explains inher post.

In fact, when the two siblings were attending a dinner at their parents' house last month, Emma, 27, went so far as to accuse Alex, who was also at the family gathering, of “mooching off” his fiancée because she earns more than him.
“For the record,” the bride noted in her post, “Alex works full-time, contributes equally to our household, and is financially independent.”

However, there has recently been “a falling-out” between the two siblings after Jake requested access to family funds that were promised to him. According to the bride, Rosa “berated” Jake over his push to get his share of the money but eventually “begrudgingly” agreed to give Jake a significantly lower amount to “keep the peace.”
