A bride says she is feeling hurt and “completely embarrassed” after her mother gave a not-so-nice speech at her wedding.
In a post onReddit’s “Wedding Shaming” forum, the 39-year-old bride shared that she and her husband recently got married and while it was an “incredible day,” she felt her mom “misunderstood the assignment” when it came to toasting the newlyweds with a speech.

A bride isn’t appreciative of the recent unsolicited advice she received ahead of her wedding.
In apostshared to Reddit’s r/weddingshaming forum, the woman explained how a family member on her wedding guest list sparked an awkward situation after telling her she’s “too young to get married.”
Initially she didn’t invite the cousin, but after the bride, 34, and her fiancé, 40, recently received some financial support from his side of the family, the couple was able to expand their guest list a bit and include a few “obligatory invites,” she wrote — including her cousin, who is in his late 40s.

Lydia Claire shared a7-second TikTok videoof herself visibly emotional at her recent wedding, writing atop the short clip a confession: “I forgot to put on my blusher [veil] before walking down the aisle.”
The bride described the forgotten item blunder as the “best mistake ever” in her caption, which elaborated on the silver lining of it all.

It’s not where you get married, it’s who you’re with.
Maurice Haynes was diagnosed with terminal tonsil cancer last October, and is currently in the care of St Giles Hospice. With his daughter Hannah Haynes’ wedding approaching in February, the duo — who have long looked forward to the special father-daughter moment — were willing to do whatever it took to ensure he could give her away.
So Hannah, 29, along with her groom Josh, also 29, enlisted the help of St Giles to hold their nuptials at the Whittington hospice — and they managed to do it in less than 24 hours.
