Eagle-eyed Swiftiesnoticed that the"Jolene" singer, 78, had followed Swift, 35, on Instagram. “Could this be a sign of a potential collaboration?” one fan account asked onX (formerly Twitter), sharing a screenshot of accounts that Parton follows.
The speculation comes after the14-time Grammy winnerwrapped up her Eras Tourand with only two moreTaylor’s Versionalbumsleft to release:Reputationand her self-titled debut album.

On Sunday, Sept. 29, the “9 to 5” singer, 78, shared a heartfelt tribute onInstagramin honor of Kristofferson, whodied on Sept. 28at age 88. Touching on his prolific and wide-ranging career, she wrote, “What a great loss, what a great writer, what a great actor, what a great friend.”
“I will always love you,” she concluded, signing the message “Dolly” with a butterfly graphic.

Dolly Parton’s latest project is a family affair.
The legendary country star, 78, is set to release a lengthy new album in November that will trace her family’s origins from the U.K. to Tennessee — and she’s calling on a slew of siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles to help her do it.
On Friday, Aug. 23, Parton released the new song “A Rose Won’t Fix It,” which features her niece Heidi Parton on lead vocals, and Parton herself in the background.
