Four people are dead and 17 people are wounded in Birmingham, Ala., after a mass shooting that investigators believe was an intended “hit.”On Saturday, Sept. 21, the Birmingham Police Department (BPD) was dispatched to the scene of the shooting — outside of hookah lounge Hush on the 2000 Block of Magnolia Avenue South— around 11 p.m. after reports of multiple shots fired, the police said in anews release.Upon arrival, officers found two adult males and one adult female unresponsive on the sidewalk, each suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Multiple people have died, including a child, after a helicopter crashed into a radio tower in Houston.
In a furthernews conference, the Houston Police Department confirmed there were “multiple fatalities including a child,” but Chief J. Noe Diaz stated authorities “don’t know the age ranges yet.”
Diaz said it was a Robinson R44 private aircraft that had crashed and that there had been four people in the helicopter at the time.

A 4-year-old boy is reportedly the sole survivor of a car crash that killed four others in California.
According to local media outletsKTLA,Los Angeles Daily NewsandThe San Bernardino Sun, the crash occurred on Sunday, Dec. 15 on the 10 Freeway near Colton in San Bernardino County.
The boy sustained major injuries during the single-vehicle crash and was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, per KTLA.
