Quincy JonesandMichael Jackson’s collaborations are some of the greatest in music history.
Jones, the legendary producer whodied on Nov. 3 at 91 years old, worked with many artists throughout his decades-long career includingJackson, who died in 2009. Their collaborations,Off the Wall,ThrillerandBadcan be credited for crowning Jackson the King of Pop.
According toThe Hollywood Reporter, they met when Jackson was 12 years old at Sammy Davis' house.

Thai restaurateur Thuleewan “Kimmy” Boonyarattana was on the Phi Phi Islands when she got a phone call from her nephewon the morning of Dec. 26, 2004.
“Are you all right there?” he asked. “Something happened.”
The phone disconnected as waves froma catastrophic tsunamirushed forward toward the islands and many other parts of the Indian Ocean.
Boonyarattana, now 52, never saw her nephew again.

The formerBon Jovirocker tells PEOPLE that the idea came to him in the middle of the night as he was scrolling through X (formerly Twitter), and realized that they lyrics of “I Pray” could easily be applied to the aftermath of the fires, which have so far killed at least 25 people and destroyed more than 12,000 structures in the Los Angeles area.
