Christine Paul remembers her thoughts in April 2018 as she walked out of the hospital’s cardiology unit following a left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implant. Although her life had been extended — theLVADwas now helping her heart pump blood — she was worried. “Who’s going to love me?" she recalls. “Nobody.”

At anafternoon press conferenceon Friday, Dec. 6, Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Steve Limani said that the body ofElizabeth Pollard, 64, was found earlier that day at approximately 11:05 a.m. local time.
“During the course of the removal of dirt and sifting through things, we did find Elizabeth,” Limani told reporters.

Since then, Kenya, a mom of five, says she’s gotten few answers from authorities who say they know who killed 21-year-old Malachi and how it happened — but haven’t pursued charges or ruled out a crime and have sought to keep the shooter’s name from becoming public, citing gang fears.

On Aug. 13, Nancy Her was working as an occupational therapist in Roseville, Minn., helping people recover from strokes and other health conditions — another normal day until she suddenly collapsed herself.
The first-response team who treated Her, 43, initially assumed she had a seizure, Audrey Yang, Her’s sister, tells PEOPLE.
“Once the paramedics got there, they looked at her and knew it was serious,” Yang says. “They said to [the first-response team], ‘This is not a seizure.

The Texas-based military family of five — David, a lieutenant colonel in the Marine Corps, his wife Jennifer, and their three sons, Connor, 14, Keegan, 12, and Colton, 5 — was recently reunited when David, who had been away for six months, came home for a brief visit to San Antonio.
