14-Year-Old Mom and 3-Week-Old Daughter with Heart Condition Missing Since Sunday, Says LAPD

Police in Los Angeles are searching for a teenage mother and her newborn daughter who have been missing since Sunday.

In anews releaseshared on Mon Aug. 26, family members and the Los Angeles Police Department requested the public’s help in locating 14-year-old Amoria Brown and her 3-week-old daughter Omoria Brown, who has a heart condition that “requires daily medication.”

The two were last seen around 10 p.m. on Aug. 25 in the East Los Angeles area, along with Amoria’s 15-year-old sister-in-law Sanaii Brown, and were believed to be heading to the “high desert area with family,” per the release.

Since the release was issued, Sanaii has reunited with her relatives, according to her family, perNBC News.

The release also included photos of the mother and newborn, plus a description of Amoria as 5 feet, 4 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes and weighing approximately 140 lbs.

“She was wearing a multi-colored shirt, gray shorts and gray sandals,” at the time of her disappearance, according to the release.
