3 People Charged with Selling $200,000 Worth of Forged Jason Kelce Memorabilia

Three people have been charged with selling forgedJason Kelcememorabilia worth approximately $200,000, authorities in Pennsylvania said.

Robert Capone, 51, of Philadelphia; LeeAnn Branco, 43, of Bristol, R.I. and Joseph Parenti, 39, Cranston, R.I., were charged with multiple counts of forgery and theft related to selling the items, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Upper Merion Township Chief Blaine Leisannounced on Thursday, Jan. 23.

Branco and Parenti attended the legitimate signing event on June 11 and Branco secured a photo with Kelce in order to further “validate” the authentication of the forged memorabilia, police said.

Capone, Branco and Parenti are charged with 60 felony counts.

Capone was arraigned on Wednesday, Jan. 22 while Branco and Parenti are expected to turn themselves in to Montgomery County detectives and will be arraigned on the charges at that time.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 5.
