A Nevada woman has died after falling while climbing at the Red Rocks.
Manalese’s death has been ruled an accident, the outlets reported.
The coroner’s office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
“This weekend, I lost my best friend, my partner in crime, my girlfriend. I am crushed 💔,” Hiett wrote alongside several photos of himself and Manalese on various outdoor adventures.
“Micah was a truly special person,” he said. “She was outgoing, courageous, and a blessing to anyone who had the chance to meet her. I will always cherish the time we spent together. She absolutely meant the world to me, and I wish we could have shared more of this world with each other.”

“I’ve been in the industry long enough and seen a few things, I knew it was a fatality pretty much right away,” De Luca explained. “You don’t survive something like that.”
More than $32,500 has been raised through aGoFundMe campaignstarted to support Manalese’s family with funeral expenses and other forms of relief following her tragic death.
“Rock climbing was her absolute favorite activity to do,” the fundraiser’s organizer wrote. Manalese was described as a “strong and ambitious” woman who “had been climbing since 2014.”
Hiett offered his condolences to Manalese’s family and friends following her sudden death. “This loss is truly tragic,” he wrote on Instagram.
At the end of his post, Hiett said, “Thank you for everything you did on this earth, Micah. The people you made an impact on, the smiles, the laughs. I love you, and I hope to see you soon ❤️🕊.”
