32-Year-Old Man Survives After Being Attacked by Bear, Then Shot by Hunter Who Tried to Stop Attack

Both men opened fire at the bear during the attack, and the 32-year-old victim was shot in the leg as a result, State Troopers Spokesman Tim DeSpain said in an email, per theAssociated Press.

The injured hunter was taken to a hospital in Anchorage, where he was treated for his injuries.
