90 Day: Brian Blows Ingrid's Mind When He Reveals He's Been Married 4 Times — and Hopes No. 5 Will Be His Last (Exclusive)

Brian is hoping marriage number five will be his last as he attempts to wrap up his fourth divorce — but this is news to his new partner Ingrid, who initially believed he had only been married twice.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive clip from the Nov. 24 episode of90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Brian unintentionally breaks the news about his lengthy marriage history to Ingrid while they dine with a friend in Recife, Brazil.

The conversation takes a turn when Brian mentions how much easier it is to get divorced in the United States compared to Brazil.

“I’ve been through this three times,” he says in Portuguese, later clarifying, “Four in total if you count the one here in Recife.”

“What? How many times, Brian?” Ingrid says, mouth agape as Brian giggles beside her.

After a few months of marriage, Brian claims he realized “she was just using me for the Green Card,” and they ultimately got divorced.

“This is why I definitely don’t take marriage lightly anymore,” Brian explains. “I’ve been married four times, so before I get married a fifth time, I really need to make sure that she’s the one.”

Brian also suggests that Ingrid knows about his ex-wife from Brazil “and how frustrating it’s been going through this divorce.”

In a confessional, Ingrid claims she only knew about two of the marriages before Brian’s revelation, which appears to be a big red flag for her.

“Why is he married four times and it didn’t work out?” she ponders in Portuguese. “Why is he alone? There’s something wrong.”
