The author also says that writing for a new audience allowed her to challenge herself artistically, as well.
“Writing in the adult fantasy space has allowed me to explore themes and questions that I relate to on a deep level, and it’s been a challenge that I have found creatively energizing,” the author adds. “My hope is that readers feel that connection too, and turn the last page with a little more empathy and grayscale thinking I believe our world desperately needs.”
