Kay and Tay Dudley’s daughter, Ellie, has as much personality as they do.

TheTikTok couple, who wed in 2016, rose to fame after they began posting about their relationship on social media in 2022. Since then, they’ve shared comedic insight into their marriage and most recently, their journey as new parents.

Kay documented her entire pregnancy on her and Tay’s joint social media accounts, as well as Ellie’s birth. The content creators welcomed their first child together, whose full name is Elliott “Ellie” Mae, in November 2023. (Kay also has an older daughter from a previous relationship.)

In the following months, the pair have shared her major milestones and sweet moments, giving their millions of followers frequent glimpses into their growing family.

From her birth to her first Halloween costume, here’s everything to know about Kay and Tay’s daughter, Ellie.

She was born in November 2023

Kay and Tay announced they were expecting their first child together in March 2023, with Kay posting a video of the moment she learned she was pregnant onTikTok. “This gave me a [rollercoaster] of emotions 😭,” she captioned it.

The couple continued to document the pregnancy for the next eight months, sharing everything from the sex reveal andKay’s pregnancy cravingstodesigning Ellie’s nursery.

A few days later, they introduced her to their followers and explained how they chose her name.

She was a surprise to her parents

Although the couple had been trying to conceive for several months, they were surprised when Kay discovered she was pregnant with Ellie.

During an interview onThe Unplanned Podcastin January 2024, Tay revealed that he wasn’t sure if he could have children.

“I had found out in the military that I couldn’t have kids … they were basically like: ‘It will be really hard or won’t happen,’ ” the Air Force veteran recalled.

Tay did not disclose the medical reason for this diagnosis but noted that he and Kay tempered their expectations of getting pregnant. Kay added that finding out she was pregnant was “so shocking.”

She has an older sister

Kay had her first child — a daughter named Kinsley — when she was 19 years old. While appearing onThe Unplanned Podcast, Kay explained that she doesn’t post her elder daughter on social media out of respect for her privacy.

She added of Ellie: “Once Ellie’s old enough to make that decision, I will never force my kids to be a part of this if they don’t want to be.”

Not much is known about Kinsley, but Kay revealed that she was excited about becoming an older sister.

“I was really worried that [Kinsley] was going to like resent me or be hurt or jealous,” Kay said about having another child. “Surprisingly, it was like she was waiting for it. She was so happy.”

She helped inspire her mom’s jewelry collection

In April 2024, Kay launchedher own jewelry collectionwith the company Rellery. According toRellery’s website, the line features thoughtfully designed pieces meant to capture and celebrate life’s significant moments.

One of the necklaces in the line is named “Bean,” a nickname the couple often call Ellie.

“This piece is all about celebrating your favorite human beans—your little ones, your other-half, your besties," Kay wrote on the website. “For me, I’ve got 2 special beans, so I added the extra bean charms to represent them.”

She named another piece “Gigi Rainbow” after her late grandmother, who died shortly before she found out she was pregnant with Ellie.

She’s participated in aHarry Potter-inspired sorting ceremony

When Ellie turned 9 and ¾ months old — a nod to the famoustrain platform inHarry Potter— her parents had her participate in a sorting ceremony. The tradition has become popular amongHarry Potterfans, allowing babies and toddlers to “choose” their Hogwarts house.

In theHarry Potteruniverse, students at Hogwarts are sorted into one of four houses, each representing unique qualities. Gryffindor stands for bravery, courage and chivalry; Hufflepuff is known for loyalty, kindness and hard work; Ravenclaw values wisdom, wit and a love of learning; Slytherin represents ambition, resourcefulness and determination.

In avideo, Ellie crawled to a row of banners and paused before picking Gryffindor, the same house as Kay. The proud mom then placed a sorting hat on Ellie’s head, which confirmed her placement.

“It was so fun to watch Ellie choose, now it makes me want to see what other things she can crawl to and choose!” Tay, who is a Ravenclaw, wrote in the caption.

She picked her first Halloween costume

For her first Halloween, Ellie dressed as Cinderella — before the princess makeover. Her parents made it a family costume, with Kay dressing as the Fairy Godmother and Tay as Gus Gus.

Kay had a hard time deciding on Ellie’s first costume and tried out a few different options throughout the month of October, including an accountant, Pebbles fromThe Flintstones, Harry Potter and Tinkerbell, among others, but ultimately, Ellie chose her own costume.

“All of them were so precious on her, but she loved one of them above them all. We could tell from the second that we put it on, that this costume was her favorite,” the couple captioned acompilationof Ellie trying on all of the adorable costumes.
