Ally Romanosaid “I do” in thestunning weddingof her dreams!
Celebrity event planner Marcy Blumtransformed the space into an “Italian garden courtyard” with an edge, adding moody colors like pinks, reds and lots of green. Blum incorporated both the couple’s deep love of family and personal touches for both.
Ally shared with PEOPLE that getting married in Manhattan was especially meaningful as it was where she and her new husband Wilezol, 35, first met and started their romantic journey.

Ally says of her guests at the wedding, “Initially we we wanted no more than 100 people, and then the library came along and, well, the invite list exceeded 250! What was most important to us was making sure that whatever we did felt like us. We wanted it to be one big, fun party for all of our friends and family.”

The couple enlisted of 16-piece Elan Artists’ Rhythm Collective band for the reception. “It was just so fun and special.”

A science experiment-inspired martini bar featured made-to-order martinis. Specialty cocktails included the “Ol’ Willy,” an old fashioned with black cherries, the “Big Al” a dirty vodka martini with goat cheese stuffed olives, and “The Romeo Crennel” (aka Ranch Water) with casamigos blanco, Topo Chico, chopped jalapeños. “The name is an inside joke between us and our friends Alanna and Eric,” adds Ally.

A on the left foot and Z on the right. I had pink stitching and laces, and his were black.”

It exceeded every expectation … It was light, sweet, emotional and funny as well. Right after it ended I told Zack I wanted to do it all again!”
