Amy Schumer Shares Son Gene, 5, Is 'Really IntoSNLSketches' Right Now — and Reveals His Favorite Cast Members (Exclusive)

Amy Schumermay be raising a little comedian.

Speaking with PEOPLE at theSNL50 Anniversary Specialred carpet on Sunday, Feb. 16 at Rockefeller Plaza, theKinda Pregnantstar,43, shared her 5-year-old son Gene’s latest interests. Schumer says that the toddler has recently been into comedy sketches fromSaturday Night Live.

“He’s really intoSNLsketches,” Schumer tells PEOPLE. “He loves Chris Farley sketches and old Adam Sandler ones and stuff.”

The three-timeSNLhost revealed on a January episode ofAlex Cooper’sCall Her Daddywhat her husband,Chris Fischer, 45, and son,Gene, think about her fame. “It’s like the same with my son or my husband,” she told the30-year-old podcast host. “It’s like, ‘you’re mom.'”

Of all of her movies, theTrainwreckstar’s son has only watchedTrolls 3,the moment inTrainwreckwhen she’s trying to dunk, and some of her new filmKinda Pregnantbecause she was editing it.

“He thinks that the stunts are funny,” she said. As for Fischer, theI Feel Prettyactress said “sometimes [Chris will] try to empathize with it,” before quickly adding, “he doesn’t care.”

TheInside Amy Schumerstar admitted thatthe professional chef’s upbringing could have a lot to do with his lack of interest in her global stardom. She told Cooper that he “grew up with some famous friends,” since he lived on Martha’s Vineyard.
