Angel Reese Says WNBA 'Don't Pay My Bills,' Revealing How Much She Pays in Rent

Angel Reeseis opening up about her finances.

“I just hope y’all know, the WNBA don’t pay my bills at all,” Reese told her followers. “I don’t even think it pays one of my bills, literally.”

The Chicago Sky forward then admitted she was unsure of her salary from the WNBA — according toSportrac, it was $73,439 this season — before calculating whether or not it would cover her rent alone. After doing the math on her $8,000 a month rent, Reese joked, “I’m living beyond my means!”

After the clip of Reese discussing her salary and rent went viral, users on social media were quick to critique her spending habits.

Reese took to Twitter to laugh off the concern that she was actually living beyond her means, resharing a post that said, “Do y’all not see the collaborations and endorsements Angel has? I’m sure she doesn’t see that 8k leave her account.”

“Sister these folks don’t use common sense at all….,” Reesewrotein response to the post.

She also shared a post that read, “People will clown WNBA salaries then get mad at a player for figuring out how to get to other bags in the offseason,” with a photo of the Sky star walking the red carpet at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York.
