Ant Anstead Will Appear on The Flip Off with Ex Christina Haack After She Joked He Could Replace Josh Hall: Source

Ant Ansteadis set to make an appearance alongside exChristina Haack(formerly Hall) on her upcoming showThe Flip Off, a source tells PEOPLE.

The Flip Off, which is slated to premiere in early 2025, also stars Christina’s first husband Tarek El Moussa and his current wife Heather Rae El Moussa. Her estranged third husband, Josh Hall, was set to be her partner on the home competition series, before their unexpectedsplit in July.

Christina has since returned to filming without Josh, a source previously confirmed to PEOPLE, but the status of his involvement in the series, if any, is unclear.

Christina first sparked rumors of Anstead’s involvement over the summer.

In response, Christina agreed, “LOL that would be a genius ‘ratings’ idea just sayin.”

However, she later shut down the idea while speaking to Backgrid, saying, “It would be good for ratings, butI can’t work with any more exes. I already work with Tarek.”

Christina even re-followed her ex on Instagram and laterexplained to Backgrid: “Ant and I share Hudson… and I feel like he deserves to have us get along.”

The gesture was a turning point in their relationship post divorce, which involved aheated custody battleover their son. Ansteadappears to have also followed Christina back on Instagramas of Oct. 19.

Josh later made arare public statement denying thathe requested $65,000 in spousal support from Christina.

The highly-anticipated series will mark the first time Christina and Tarek will be on a show together sinceFlip or Flopended in 2022 after ten seasons.

The pair were married for seven years until 2016, and they share daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9. They continued to film their hit series together for several seasons post-divorce. Tarek and Heather also welcomed their son Tristan in 2023.
