Armie Hammeris getting candid about exploring his sexuality.

On Monday, March 3, the actor, 38, sat down with actress and mental health coach Dani Druz to discuss “addiction, recovery, and the chaos of navigating Hollywood,” on the latest episode ofThe Armie HammerTime Podcast.

TheSocial Networkstar shared how he tried “hooking up with a dude one time,” after Druz shared that she told everyone she was a lesbian when she first moved to Los Angeles from New York while trying to better understand how men and women interact with each other within the city.

“It was hilarious because I was like, you know what, women are the worst,” Hammer said. “Like gay dudes seem to have it so easy, like so easy."

“I’m at a restaurant, my phone blows up and it’s like Grindr and someone else is like, ‘I’m at the same restaurant do you want a b— j– in the bathroom?’ and you’re like, ‘Hey guys, I’ll be back in five minutes,’ ” he continued.

Hammer joked that gay men can return to the table after a sex act in a public place and continue to order from the menu as if nothing happened, and confessed that this made him want to try Grindr for himself as “maybe this actually works for me.”

“I remember I met this dude, handsome, French, the whole thing, and I was like okay this could work, let’s try this,” Hammer said. “I remember I started making out with him and I just remember being like, ‘Urgh God beards, like I get it why women like it when you shave. This thing is f—ing rough, how do I get in there?’ "

“And I remember I put my arms around him and I was like, ‘Oh my God and these shoulders are so wide, he’s so big, like he’s almost my height, this is so strange.’ And it did physically for me, absolutely nothing. Not even a twitch."

Hammer said he stopped things between the pair when the man went to touch his “flaccid penis.” “‘This is not going to happen. I’m sorry,’ " he added. “I was like, ‘I’ve got to stop this here.’ "

He didn’t reveal when the encounter happened before continuing his discussion with Druz about her experience with sexuality and addiction.
