Ashley Tisdale’s Husband Tries to Guess ‘Girl Terms’ and Has the Most Hilarious Answer for a ‘Maxi Dress’

Ashley Tisdaleis prepping her husband,Christopher French, to be the best girl dad.

In aTikTok videoposted on Dec. 23, theHigh School Musicalstar quizzed her composer husband on various “girl terms” related to fashion and beauty.

When tasked with defining a “waterline” (a.k.a. the area near the lower lash line that is often referred to when applying eyeliner), French hilariously guessed if it has to do with a part of the house. He also had the funniest interpretation of what a “maxi dress” is, stating that the long silhouette describes a dress that is “doing the most.”

Thankfully, he had some help from Jupiter when he had to explain what a butterfly clip was. “It goes in my hair and it looks like a butterfly,” she said.

One thing French does know is that bras have underwires. “You’ve been with too many girls to not know that one,” Tisdale joked.

Tisdale and Frenchhave been together for over a decade. In 2013, they got engaged atop the Empire State Building after eight months of dating. They tied the knot on Sept. 8, 2014, in an intimate ceremony held at the Villa Sevillano in Santa Barbara, Calif., with Tisdale’s former costar Vanessa Hudgens serving as a bridesmaid.

They welcomed Jupiter in March 2021 (“She definitely looks like my husband, butdefinitely is my personality,” Tisdale told PEOPLE of her firstborn in 2023), and then their second daughterEmerson Cloverin September 2024.

“I always like to say, ‘I’m Ashley Tisdale in the business but at home I’m Ashley French.’ And so I think for me, it was the first time I was really letting everybody in to see who I am as a person. I remember being like, ‘French, French, Frenshe.’ And then I just went to GoDaddy to see if it was available and it was. And I was like, ‘This is the name.'" she told PEOPLE in 2022 when the company launched a bath and bodycare line in Target.
