Bebe Rexha Cozies Up with New Boyfriend Simos Liakos on Sun-Soaked Holiday in Italy

Bebe Rexhaknows that the heart wants what it wants — and she’s leaning in.

On Monday, Aug. 5, the pop star, 34, was spotted cozying up with her new boyfriend Simos Liakos in Italy during a getaway.

The pair were spotted on soaking in the sun next to the water in Sardinia, where the “Meant to Be” artist was seen in a black swimsuit putting her arm over the architectural engineer’s chest and embracing him.

A rep for Rexha did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

In July 2023, Rexha confirmed the end of her three-year relationship with boyfriendKeyan Safyari,two weeks after sheshared text messageswith her Instagram followers where he purportedly spoke negatively about her weight gain.

During aLondonperformance on July 28, she introduced her song “Atmosphere,” telling the audience, “Now I just went through a breakup so I might get a little emotional, so you need to help me here,” perE! Online.

At the time, a rep for the “I’m a Mess” singer and Safyari did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.

During the performance of her song, “I Am,” at the London show, one fan could be seen holding up a sign that read, “You are enough” while Rexha wiped tears away from her cheeks.

“You really are trying to make a bitch cry,” she told the crowd.

ButRexhadidn’t let her sadness take over the evening — she also shared plans to perform at London’s iconic gay nightclub Heaven.

“I am going to be at Heaven tonight partying andlooking for a new boyfriend,” she told the audience. “I don’t know why I would look for a new boyfriend in a gay club but you know — fluid?”

The “I Got You” singer initially shared the post to her Instagram Story but deleted it.

Rexha has been open about herbody imageissues, tweeting in April 2023, “I’ve always struggled with my weight. A bitch likes to eat,” and in June 2023, “Human beings go through weight fluctuations it’s life and you don’t know what people are going through. Meds, disease, etc…."
