Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner 'on Great Terms' as They Share a Laugh at Son Samuel's 13th Birthday Party

Ben AffleckandJennifer Garnerwere all smiles as they celebrated their sonSamuel’s milestone 13th birthday.

“They’re on great terms,” a source tells PEOPLE of the exes. “Jen’s very happy with Ben. He spends a lot of time with the kids.”

“They get along great,” another source says of Affleck and Garner. “She makes him laugh like no one else can. She seems happy that Ben’s happy.”

Affleck and Garner, both 52, were dressed in camouflage-type attire for the get-together as they engaged in the game on an outdoor paintball course.

The pair broke up in 2015, following a decade of marriage. Theyfinalized their divorcethree years later.

The former couple still regularly get together to celebrate important milestones in the lives of their three children, who also includeViolet, 19, andSeraphina, 16.

After getting divorced, Garner and Affleck moved on to other relationships. Garner has been dating CEOJohn Milleron and off since 2018, while Affleck was married toJennifer Lopezfor two years before shefiled for divorcein August 2024. Theirdivorce was settledin January.

“Ben’scasually dating,” a source told PEOPLE on Feb. 21, but clarified of the two-timeAcademy Awardwinner, “This doesn’t seem to be a focus though."

The insider went on to say that Affleck is “very focused on work," adding, “If he’s not filming, he spends long days at his office.”

The source said Affleck also spends “a lot of time” with his and Garner’s three kids, noting that he and Samuel in particular “are very close.”

Meanwhile, theYes Dayactress and businessman Miller first connected in 2018, shortly after Garner finalized her divorce from Affleck, whom shemarried in June 2005.

A source told PEOPLE in December 2024 that Garner is"very happy with” her longtime boyfriend, and “spends a lot of time with him.”

“She sees him almost every day,” the insider added at the time.

Per the source, Miller spent the night at Garner’s house onThanksgiving 2024, after she and Affleck spent the day volunteering with their children.

“Jen truly just wants her kids to be happy,” the insider told PEOPLE. “She will continue to make sure that they spend time together as a family and include Ben.”
