“Missed you guys! Love you!!” Morrone, 34, wrote over the photo, tagging the pair.

Lively and Reynolds were seen for the first time together amid Lively’slawsuitagainstJustin Baldonisnapped standing on either side of Morrone as he had his arm around Lively. Reynoldsrepostedthe photo on his Instagram Stories and tagged Morrone.

The Italian actor stars alongside Lively in the sequel to the 2018 comedy-thrillerA Simple Favor, which wrapped up production in 2024. Lively,Anna KendrickandHenry Goldingare reprising their roles in the film.

The costars’ reunion photo comes after rumors surfaced earlier in the month of themovie being shelveddue to Lively’s ongoing legal battle with herIt Ends with UscostarJustin Baldoni.

DirectorPaul Feigannounced on X thatA Simple Favor 2is expected to be released in the “spring/summer of this year” in response to the rumors on Jan. 11.

Feig, 62, labeled the rumors “total BS,” urging others on the platform, “Don’t believe anything you read on social media these days.”

He also praised Lively and Kendrick’s performance in a subsequentpost, writing, “The movie is awesome, and Blake and Anna turn in amazing performances. I can’t wait for you all to see it.”

Lively filed a lawsuit in December claiming that Baldoni sexually harassed her and launched a retaliatory public smear campaign against her. Baldoni thenfiled his own $400 million lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds and their publicist, while denying all claims.

Morrone hassupported Lively amid her legal situation with Baldoni, posting a video to his Instagram Stories on Dec. 23, where he shared that it was “time to stand up” for the actress.

He ended his Instagram video with a message to Lively, saying, “Blake, I love you so much. Keep it up, and we’re going to see each other very, very soon.”
