TheIt Ends With Usstar, 37, was seen having an animated conversation with the Magnolia founders outside a restaurant in New York City on Tuesday, Oct. 22.

In the shot, Lively is speaking to Joanna, 46, as she extends her hand out to theFixer Upperdesigner. Both Lively and Joanna have smiles on their faces as they speak, while Chip, 49, stands behind them.

The trio were spotted chatting after leaving Italian restaurant Gemma inside the celeb-favorite Bowery Hotel.

Lively has been a longtime fan of Chip and Joanna.

“It’s the greatest show ever,” the actress said at the time. Referring to the couple, she added, “They’re everything goals. Their family, their life — I’m so obsessed with them.”

Chip and Joanna are based in Waco, Texas where they’ve been building their Magnolia empire. The couple, who got married in 2003, share five children together: sons Drake, 19, Duke, 16, and Crew, 6, as well as daughters Ella, 18, and Emmie, 14.

When asked if she’d ever reach out to Chip and Joanna directly to become “best friends,” Lively responded, “Why do you assume that I haven’t done that?”

She then explains how their friendship was born, noting that her husbandRyan Reynoldswas also involved in the special moment.

“It was the first thing that we did, this is why we started social media. My husband and I realized the power of social media. We were like, ‘if we tweet them, do they respond? Is that kind of like emailing them but cheating because then it’s like, a public email?’”

“Sure enough, we were able to track them down and I found some weird excuse. I was like, ‘Joanna, I need to call you to talk to you about a future idea.’ So we text every now and then and every time we text I take a screen grab that says, ‘text message: Joanna Gaines’ and just like, save a photo like a little psychopath.”

Lively is a lover of all things home design herself, and she even previouslyjoked that she’s a “secret interior designer”in an Instagram post back in January.

In the shot, theGossip Girlalum is seen posing in her home that she shares with Reynolds, offering a glimpse inside what appeared to be their primary bedroom and bathroom.

After giving a shout-out to Michael Kors for her sparkling gold outfit in the caption, she added, “and yes I low key moonlight as an interior designer but please don’t tell bc I definitely don’t want the world to know that I have a hidden talent which I require external validation on.”
