Brad Pittis all revved up.The star, 60, appeared on the set of his upcoming movie about Formula One racing,F1,on Sunday, Dec. 8, popping bottles of champagne alongside his costarJavier Bardemand real-life Formula One racersCharles LeclercandGeorge Russellduring the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix.The actor was photographed in an all-white racing outfit, grinning with an open bottle of champagne in hand. Next to him, Bardem raised a trophy in the air as Leclerc and Russell appeared to douse the two actors in champagne. Pitt’s black cap read “1st” on the side, giving audiences an insight into the scene’s events.Last Thursday, Dec. 5, Pitt was also photographed while filming ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, wearing a similar costume as he appeared to sign an autograph onto a baseball cap.

Though audiences may have already seen a sneak peek of the filmin a teaser trailer released back in July2024, the cast and crew have continued to utilize real-life Formula One racing events throughout the year as backdrops for filming. More recently, Pitt was alsospotted at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, filming several scenes for the film, which is slated to release in the summer of next year. The film will also feature 10 different real Formula 1 teams and actors who portray their drivers.

Pitt has been working hard to keep the movie as accurate as possible, according to Bruckheimer, 80,who told PEOPLE that Pitt had “trained for four or five months.“But Bruckheimer wouldn’t reveal just how fast Pitt has been driving to keep the movie as realistic as possible.
“I can’t tell you. The insurance company will kill me,” he joked.F1is in theaters and IMAX June 27, 2025.
