Spears showed off that newfound freedom in October, when she posted a video to Instagram of herself in a wedding dress, telling fansshe’d “married myself.”
“The day I married myself … Bringing it back because it might seem embarrassing or stupid, but I think it’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done !!!” the “Toxic” singer captioned her post.
The Grammy winner also recentlyspent time with her youngest son Jayden, 18, whom she shares with ex-husbandKevin Federline. The former couple, who split in 2006, are also parents to sonSean Preston, 19.
A source told PEOPLE last month that Spears reunited with Jayden in Los Angeles, where they hung out at her home.
“Spending time together has made her happy,” the insider said.

Asghari, meanwhile, told PEOPLE in November that he’s“absolutely” been able to move onwith his life post-divorce, and that he’s been focused on work. The actor and fitness trainer is set to appear on season 3 of the popular Peacock seriesThe Traitors, which will premiere next month.
“It’s the bed that you make yourself, and you got to learn how to lay in it, so it’s part of the lifestyle,” he said. “You just got to keep it positive. You got to stay grounded and understand what the truth is and really just live with that rather than other people’s opinions or anything like that.
Asghari also spoke to PEOPLE in March about his split from Spears, revealing that heholds no ill willtoward his ex.
“It was a blessing to be able to share life with someone for a long time, and people grow apart and people move on,” he said. “I’ve always hated people leaving a certain relationship — and at some point they told each other they love each other and they sat at the same table and ate food [together] — so I never understood when people part ways [and] they talk badly about each other. That’s something I’m never going to do because I had nothing but an amazing experience and a great life, and that’s always going to be part of my life, a chapter of my life.”
