Bruce Springsteenposed withJeremy Allen White— who is playing a younger version of Springsteen in the upcoming biopic about his life, titledDeliver Me from Nowhere—on the set of the film in Freehold, New Jersey, on Friday, Jan. 10.

White was first reported to be in talks to portray Springsteen in March. Since then, the actor, whorecently won a Golden Globefor his starring role inThe Bearfor the third year in a row, has shared how excited he is to be part of the production.
He was absent from theGolden Globesceremony becausehe was not in L.A., and instead on the opposite coast filmingDeliver Me from Nowhere, PEOPLE previously confirmed.
“[The support] has made this whole process, I think, such an extra joy that we have his support andJon Landau— his manager’s — support, who has a large role in the film as well. So I feel really lucky,” White told reporters in the Emmys press room.

Soon after filming began in October 2024,Springsteen visited the set of the biopic. He and White were then snapped sharing a hug on set the following month.
Springsteen later praised White, whom he said “sings very well,” during an appearance onSiriusXM’s E Street Radio, as he said there’s a “tremendous cast of people” involved.
“They cast the film beautifully, so it’s very exciting,” said the"Glory Days"hitmaker, adding that while it was “a little bit” weird at first to see someone else playing him, he got over that “pretty quick.”
“Jeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it. He’s got an interpretation of me that I think the fans will deeply recognizeand he’s just done a great job, so I’ve had a lot of fun,” Springsteen said. “I’ve had a lot of fun being on the set when I can get there.”
Deliver Me from Nowhereis slated for a 2025 theatrical release.
