Camila Cabello Swaps Platinum Blonde Hair for Ultra-Dark Brunette Locks for Sultry 2024 MTV VMAs Look

The pop star, 27, surprised fans on Sept. 11 when she showed up with brunette hair after being blonde as recently as Sept. 10. In addition to her long brown locks, Cabello showed off her style with a vampy black lace gown with sheer paneling with a black lace veil draped atop her head. She wore layered cross necklaces and more vampy jewels.

This year marks a VMAs comeback for Cabello, who was last nominated in 2022 for the cinematography in her “Bam Bam” music video." She’s alsoreturning to the VMAs stageto perform this year, afterlast performing in 2021when she put on a show with a spicy rendition of her song of the summer nominee, “Don’t Go Yet.”

The singer isnominated in two categoriesin 2024: best pop — alongsideDua Lipa,Olivia Rodrigo,Sabrina Carpenter,Tate McRaeandTaylor Swift— and best trending video for “I Luv It."

Cabello’s VMAs appearance comes just a few months after she carried a chilly statement piece to the Met Gala in May. At the time, the “He Knows” singer broughta block of ice carved in the shape of a pursewith a bronze rose encapsulated inside.
