Capri Sun Is Introducing a Glow-in-the-Dark Pouch for Its Newest Flavor: Moon Punch

Capri Sun is shining a light on its lunar side.

On Tuesday, March 11, Capri Sun announced the coming release of its new glow-in-the-dark pouches for a new galactic flavor: Moon Punch.

The signature sun that’s on the classic pouches will be replaced with glowing moons in celebration of the total lunar eclipse happening on Friday, March 14.

Atotal lunar eclipse, also known as a “blood moon,” is when the moon enters and passes through the darkest parts of Earth’s shadow, giving the moon a reddish glow for a short time. This rare celestial event, which hasn’t happened since November 2022, according toNASA, will begin in the evening of March 13 and into the early morning of March 14.

The eight new astronomically-inspired pouches will be a cosmic cherry flavor. Each pouch will depict a different moon phase, making them fun collectible items to create a complete moon cycle — from new to full moon.

Moon Punch will be heading to national retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Target and Kroger for a limited time so check local stores for participating locations.
