Carrie Underwood’skids may not have seen her onAmerican Idolthe first time around, but they’re gearing up to watch her on television weekly in 2025.

The “Before He Cheats” singer, 41, who won the fourth season ofAmerican Idolis set to return for the show’s 23rd season as a judge.

Although her two sons Isaiah, 9, and Jacob, 5, whom she shares with Mike Fisher, weren’t able to watch her win the show, Underwood tellsYahoo Entertainmentthey’re excited to see her on television now.

In June, Underwood shared a few photos to herInstagramof herspecial day at the amusement parkspent with her son Jacob. The little guy could be seen walking around the park and reaching for rubber ducks, wearing neon orange basketball shorts, a blue T-shirt, high socks and white sneakers.

“Took the little man to @sixflagsmagicmountain today for some Mom/Jake time! We rode rides, played games, got soaked, ate sooooo much ice cream and candy, bought random souvenirs and had the best day!” Underwood wrote in her caption.

In March, the mom of twotook a minute to celebrate her older sonwith a taekwondo-themed birthday party. Underwood shared a series of photos toher Instagramof her son Isaiah’s birthday cake, honoring her little guy as he turned 9.

The sweet treat featured a taekwondo student on top, kicking in the air as the cake read “Takewondo Martial Arts Isaiah Fisher.”

“Today, we got to celebrate our sweet Isaiah turning 9!!!! Oh, how time flies…we got to party doing one of his favorite things…taekwondo!” Underwood wrote in her caption.

“So fun to see the kids learning some new things. And what an amazing cake from@iveycakestore!!! It was as yummy as it was cool!”
