Celebrity hairstylist Graham Nation has died. He was 39.
According to the L.A. County Department of Medical Examiner, he died at a gym in Los Angeles on Friday, Feb. 14. The case is pending additional investigation.
Days before his death, Nation, whose real name was Graham Cheek, revealed that he styled Catherine O’Hara’s hair for her Michelob Ultra Super Bowl ad. “My first ever Super Bowl commercial!” he shared in anInstagrampost from Feb. 10. “What an absolute blast to work on, Thank you Cathrine O’Hara for having me apart of this epic commercial.🩶”
Nation’s worked with a roster of celebrity clients including Demi Moore, Alix Earle, Jared Leto, Simone Ashley, Venus Williams and Emma Chamberlain. Per industry publicationBehind the Chair, he also served as an educator and ambassador for brands like SexyHair and Fekkai and his work has been featured in publications likeBritishVogue, W, Elle, Marie Claire,InStyleandWonderland.

On August 10, 2024, Nation and his partner Tonya Brewer announced that they had welcomed their first child, son Romeo West. In a joint Instagrampost, Nation can be seen wearing a black hoodie and sunglasses while holding the newborn to his chest.
