Cher, 78, and Fallon, 50, gave a hilarious Thanksgiving performance in matching full-body turkey costumes. The set was the cold open of the Nov. 28 episode ofThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Complete with red, orange and yellow feathers, turkey head pieces, voluminous feather wings and talon slippers, the duo took to the stage as Thanksgiving turkeys.
The “Gobble Medley” started out to the tune of “I Got You Babe,” Cher’s 1965 breakout song withSonny Bono. Despite the new lyrics only containing two words — “gobble” and “bawk” — the tune was instantly recognizable to the audience.
The music then transitioned to the more upbeat “If I Could Turn Back Time” and “Believe,” the singer’s iconic 1989 and 1998 hits, respectively.
