Cracker Barrel's Spring Menu Features a Savory Southern Favorite for a Limited Time

Cracker Barrel has a new menu item just in time for spring — and fans of savory breakfast dishes are in for a treat.

On Tuesday, Feb. 11, the Southern-inspired fast food chain announced tons of new sweet and savory menu items for the season — such as a brand-new Oreo stuffed cheesecake pancakes (a twist on their iconic strawberry cheesecake pancakes) and a so-called pancake latte.

This special, limited-edition dish is only available for a short time and will be featured on the restaurant’s beloved all-day breakfast menu.

Other savory treats introduced for spring include the Louisiana-style shrimp skillet, which features “grilled shrimp with a zesty creole sauce, served with new seasoned rice, grilled parmesan bread for dipping, and choice of a country side.”

New sweet additions to the menu include Cracker Barrel’s strawberry icebox pie, which features a creamy pie filling in a graham cracker crust with fresh strawberries on top, the strawberry peach lemonade and spritzer to quench your thirst as well as the pancake latte, made with maple, espresso and steamed milk.

Plenty more pancake options are available as a part of the restaurant’s signature pancake platters, including blueberry, pecan, chocolate chip, cinnamon spiced apples and country peach, and this filling breakfast dish also includes a choice of bacon or sausage as well as eggs cooked to order.

Cracker Barrel customers won’t need to worry aboutpaying extra for eggsamid the current bird flu outbreak. Asother restaurants like Waffle House have added surchargesto their eggs as prices continue to climb, Cracker Barrel revealed last week that they plan to keep the prices of their egg dishes as they are.

“Egg surcharges? Never heard of it,” the brand teased in an Instagram post on Feb. 6, revealing that the restaurant’s rewards members could earn extra points on eggs. “Order eggs and get double the pegs now through next Wednesday 2/12 🍳 Available to all Cracker Barrel Rewards members.”
