These shoes were made for walking.
On the Thursday, Oct. 31, episode ofThe Drew Barrymore Show,Mariah Careyrecalled a footwear mishap during a recent trip to the Great Wall of China.
“I couldn’t really walk that far,” the singer, 55, told hostDrew Barrymore.
“And why couldn’t you walk that far?” Barrymore, 49, asked.
“Nobody knows this but I’ll tell you,” Carey replied. “So, I had on high heels that you like, slide in. Because just in case, you know, someone took a picture of me, I want the outfit to look… you know?”
The host then reached behind the couch to retrieve a package for the Grammy winner. “I have a possible solution for next time,” she said as she presented Carey with a white gift box. “These are sold out everywhere. You cannot get them, but we managed to get one pair.”
“These are the new Sneex,” Barrymore continued as she revealed a pair of white sneakers with a stiletto heel.
“These are so cute,” Carey gushed, adding, “I love these! Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

“Men invented the high heel centuries ago, and its basic construction hasn’t really changed,” Blakely shared via press release. “There has been a void in comfortable footwear, and women deserve a new option. I wanted to create a luxury high heel that prioritizes how women feel, not just how we look."
She continued, “We are fed the line that ‘beauty is pain’… but I don’t believe it has to be. As a consumer, I have wanted to solve this problem for years.”
