Mar. 15, 2025

Duff Goldmanhas been impressing fans on the Food Network for nearly two decades with his pastries. But now he may just meet his toughest audience yet: His daughter’s preschool class!

On Thursday, Feb. 13, theAce of Tastestar revealed on Instagram that he has officially made a batch of cookies for his 4-year-old daughterJosephine’s class as a Valentine’s Day treat. And he’s more than prepared.

“I’ve been training my entire life for this moment,” Goldman, 50, joked in his caption.

“Valentine’s Day cookies for Josephine’s preschool class. 😩”

The cookies themselves are likely to be a class favorite, as Goldman prepped them with pink-and-white frosting, plenty of pink sprinkles and shaped them as hearts as a nod to the holiday. Fans and friends in the post’s comment section also agreed that the treat will leave Josephine — and her friends — with some great memories of her dad.

“What a lucky class! She def won popularity points ❤️,” one commenter wrote.

Of course, Goldman is no stranger to preparing treats for his daughter — who he shares with his wifeJohnna Colbry. Earlier this month, the Food Network star revealed on Instagram that, for Josephine’s fourth birthday, he prepared an extra special treat that she specifically requested.

At the time, Goldman wrote that his daughter asked for a “brain” cake for her birthday. So he made the edible organ happen.

“We laughed and I figured she would pick something else if I asked her again in a few days,” the proud dad wrote. “I’ve been asking since Halloween and she didn’t change her answer once. She wanted a brain.”

“I’m the cake guy, if my daughter wants a brain, she gets a brain,” he added, alongside an image of a pink brain cake featuring googly eyes and candles.

Days earlier, Goldman posted a heartfelt note to Josephine on the platform in honor of her latest birthday. Alongside the message, he shared a cute image of her with a birthday sticker on her chest. “How are you 4 already?!?” Goldman wrote in a Feb. 1birthday tribute. “You’re doing great, kid. It’s hard work growing up, figuring out how the world works, figuring out how you work and the figuring out never stops.”

He added, “That’s the fun part. It never gets boring if you keep being curious. Don’t go changin’. Happy birthday Josephine.”
