Both Prince Harry and Meghan shared a sweet moment with a “starstruck” fan. Wyatt Hutchison, 10, called out to Harry “as loud as he could,” his mom, Lindsay Hutchison,tells PEOPLE.
Wyatt called Harry and Meghan “nice” and explained that they talked about sports.
“Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Lindsay says. “He’s a little starstruck!”

At the wheelchair curling event on Feb. 9, Harry and Meghan met Ali Harper and Thorn, a 3-year-old black Labrador retriever who supports mental health for first responders in the Yukon. The interaction prompted Prince Harry to remember Guy, the beagle that Meghan rescued in 2015 whorecently died.
“Harry came right over and sat down right next to Thorn and kneeled down and started petting him and said how much he misses his dog,” Harper, 43,tells PEOPLE exclusively. “And said thank you very much for what we do with Thorn.”
She adds that Meghan had a “small interaction with Thorn as well, and then we were able to take a group photo.”
