Garcelle Beauvais’s son Jax will no longer appear on theReal Housewives of Beverly Hills.
On the Tuesday, Aug. 27 episode ofABC Audio and GMA’s “Pop Culture Moms” podcast, theRHOBHstar, 57, opened up about her 16-year-old’s “negative” experience on the show and revealed that he has decided to be excluded from the upcoming 14th season.
“Right before this season, Jax said to me, ‘Mom, I can’t do it anymore. It was too negative for me.’ I respected that, and so he’s not on this season at all,” the mom of three shared.

While Jax still filmed season 13 after the attacks he received on social media, the teen decided that this lifestyle no longer suits him.
“I always leave it up to them every season,” the mom of three shared referring to Jax and his twin brother Jaid.
“When that happened with Jax, it blew my mind, because nobody deserves it. Nobody’s kids deserve it. But I thought, you know, he’s doing this because of me and it’s our family. And it was his first week of high school,” Beauvais recalled. “And for him to be subjected to such ugliness and such, it was just horrible. It was horrible.”

Jax noted that he “did not sign up for this show, nor do I have anything to do with the show’s drama.”
“I just want to be a normal kid,” he pleaded, explaining his Instagram account is for his peers and “not for publicity nor the public’s gaze.”
Jax said that he’d be making his Instagram account private moving forward and thanked fans who have been supportive.
