Giada De Laurentiis Shows Off Her Daughter Jade, 16, Singing in Her Band — Watch

Giada De Laurentiis’sdaughter Jadeis one talented singer.

On Wednesday, Sept. 25, the Food Network alum, 54, shared a series of photos and videos to her Instagram page to celebrate the end of summer. In the carousel, De Laurentiis showed off her summer travels, a video of her picking out some tomatoes at a farmer’s market and a clip of Jade, 16, singing with her band,The Hours.

In the clip, Jade — who De Laurentiis shares with her ex-husband, clothing designer Todd Thompson — can be seen singing lead vocals outdoors with a Los Angeles train station in the background. Guitarists and a drummer back her up.

De Laurentiis' fans were immediately impressed with Jade’s singing abilities.

“No idea Jade sang. 😍,” one commenter wrote underneath the post on Instagram.

“Omg jade is an incredible singer!” another commenter wrote.

Elsewhere in her post, the celebrity chef showed off some footage ofher travels to Italy. One video featured a funny clip of her aunt Raffy filling up a pot full of sea water as they sit on a boat. De Laurentiis announces that they’re going to use a pot of half sea water and half regular water for some cooking on the open seas.

De Laurentiis has always been supportive of her daughter’s musical career. In 2022, she showed off a video ofJade performing in her school’s productionofMatilda the Musical,sharing footage of her then 13-year-old taking on the lead role to perform the song “Naughty.”

In 2023, she also shared photos from another one of Jade’s school musical performances, this time for her role in the showWorking, per a joint Instagram post from De Laurentiis and ex-husband Thompson.

“#proudparents,” they captioned a photo of the trio smiling as Jade held a bouquet of flowers.

“Soo proud of our girl & so special to watch her do what she loves,” wrote De Laurentiis.
