Gisele Bündchen Is Embracing 'This New Chapter Openly' amid Third Pregnancy (Exclusive)

Gisele Bündchenis looking forward to being a mom of three.

A source close to Bündchen exclusively tells PEOPLE that Bündchen is “excited to embrace this new chapter openly.”

PEOPLE first confirmed the news that Bündchen is expecting on Monday, Oct. 28.

Bündchen has “received many positive messages and congratulations,” says the insider, adding that while the soon-to-be mother of three “wanted to keep it private for as long as she could, doing so was starting to be a challenge.”

The supermodel “feels good” and is continuing “pilates and other exercises that will help with birth too," the source adds. She has “always taken amazing care of herself,” the insider says, noting the model “eats healthy and meditates as well.”

A source previously told PEOPLE that the model and Jiu-Jitsu instructor, 37, “are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.”

The couple met because Bündchen’s son Benjamin took jiu-jitsu lessons at Valente’s academy. They werefirst spotted togetherin November 2022, when the pair visited Provincia de Puntarenas (a province located on Costa Rica’s coast) with her two kids. In February 2024, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Bündchen and Valente have beendating since June 2023.

“Joaquim is a great guy. He is down to earth, kind and inspiring,” a source told PEOPLE in July of Valente, adding that the pair’s “friendship turned romantic after her divorce from Brady.

“It’s been very natural for her to date Joaquim,” the source added.

“They started out as great friends first,” the insider said. “She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other.”
